Ok, Here is my "Insturment" and the "Custom Case" I made for it! Didn't want it to Scream "GUN", more like,
"Baby make your own Sweet Music!"

And while it isn't a XCR, this is a little something I built for my son!

It is a Hi-Point 9mm carbine with a ATI stock, 1913 top rail added, and the same set up as the XCR, GG&G flip up rear BUIS, MI flip up ft sight and a EOTech 512.

Nice pictures. I'm still stuck in Huntsville this week. Then when I get back home to Denver I've got to see about replacing my digital camera that died.

I'll have a brand new DSA FAL to take some pictures of as well as the new sling and vertical grip with Pmags for the XCR.

Itstock, I see you've mounted your ACOG way forward in front of the rear BUIS. My ACOG is the TA31 and has 1.5" of eye relief. I've been researching the options to put on my new FAL and was looking at the TA11F which has 2.5" or thereabouts eye relief to keep from getting hit by it on recoil with the heavier caliber.

What version do you have and can you get a good cheek weld with it that far forward and still see through it?

I have the TA31 and the eye relief is about 1.5 inches. Here it is mounted on my XCR. Note I'd have to remove the ACOG to use the back sight. The TA11F I'm looking at for my DSA FAL has a 2.5 inch eye relief. The balistics of the .308 and .223 are close enough to each other out to 400-500 yards that you could go with the TA11 and mount it forward enough to clear the back BUIS. I wonder how well Itstock can see through it mounted that far forward?

The last pic you have posted was my screen saver as i researched to make sure i wanted a XCR. Now my own XCR is my screen saver (shown above), but i just wanted to thank you for the great visual each day when i sat down to ponder my purchase. A long with alot of great psot in alot of forums about the XCR, seeing your weapon daily was a great influence, Thanks! ;D

Wow...I don't know what to say other than thanks! I'm glad my pic and rifle could be an inspiration to others...that's really cool! I take the rifle with me to work quite a bit, and it never fails to draw attention...I don't know how many times I've had to "demo" it, showing function of controls, break down, etc. I even have a handful of folks that were so impressed with it, that they're ready to purchase one!
