I know it's just my preference, but if anything that folds it should not be an M4 stock. It's just too wide and if defeats the purpose for a collapsible stock when you add 2.5 inches of a folding mechanism and end up with a 13 inch LOP collapsed and a mile lop extended, so basically collapsed is the only setting that is shootable unless you are an orangutan.
The only folder/collapsible that I've seen that makes sense is the SCAR and Masada's fish tail
I like the UBR of a non folder, but $250 is steep. I guess someone is has to pay for those sexy logo's and adds. I'll wait until they cost around $150 and still whine about how expensive.
A few weeks ago I did it. I buried her and pulled her back out and fired her. I did run into an issue, that just started but maybe a few mags that I fired right before I buried my XCR in the fine silty sand. So I could not complete my test. Terra squared me away and quick. So I will resume da test next week or so. But I will share as to what an XCR will look like real dirty, like what our weapons typically looked like in the real world (Army). So here they are;
