**UPDATED PHOTOS**

Well it's no secret that I got one. Here are some "field" pics of my XCR-L w/16" Heavy Barrel 1/8 twist and Elcan Specter DR on top.

Wow, been a while since I've seen this thread. Nice guns, everybody!

Gr8, that sbr is sweet! What rail covers are those?
thanks man. I've posted it before but with a different stock. The rail covers are something I found on Amazon. Maybe UTG. I'll try to find a link and post it.
Have you shot a lot with it yet? If so, with what chambering and at what distances?
Huh!
I missed this way-back-when, sorry about the late response!

I've done a bunch of shooting with that PEQ, on my -M in 7.62 NATO. The IR laser on that little unit lit up steel siloughettes at 600 amazingly well, I could tell I was on the steel by the 'splatter' of reflection coming off it. It's close enough to the bore axis that I don't need to 'favor' all that much until I get out past 600. At 900 I was missing the target due to the difference in angle.... I can correct for it, but it's a "let me add in some windage" versus "point and shoot", if that makes sense.
added an ugg boot. A lil hefty, but super comfy

I still favor the FAST!
luckily it only takes a couple mins to swap back. Im keeping both
XCR from Nate got here this week. Had a Vortex Venom sitting around that wasn't being used, so I found a riser for it and slapped it on. It was off by a country mile when I went to zero, but I got it dialed in and it shot great. DD 32 round mags work great. They insert fine with all 32 rounds in even on a closed bolt. Shot Hornady Steel Match and PPU 75 Grain Match through it. 50 of each. No malfunctions.

Thats what I'm trying to get a hold of. I emailed RA sales, but they are dumb. They told me I could buy the upper, but only would give me a link to where you buy a complete rifle and choose what length upper. Kind of a face palm moment as we both said just the upper ONLY

Curious, who at RA did you get a hold of? Did, once again, competent employees (who actually understood importance of customer relations in a retail business) get fed up and leave? This isn't the ray of hope we heard of when back "Nurple" and "Holly" arrived on scene to deal with customers.

They are less than $600 for the bare comp upper from Kermit or Nate....at least that was the price over a year ago. Should still be in the ball park.

PM either/both and get a quote.
So here is a pic of my XCR-M in 308, while my 6.5 barrel is on order. Mounting the SWR Radius would have worked out better on a competition length upper, but this is what I have and works out well for my needs. Now I always take flack for the scope being so far forward, so before people jump on it, this weaver tactical has 4.5' inches of eye relief it has to be that far forward for me =)

Nice. Have to ask, what's the total weight on that package?
As you see it 13.3 lb's I think, the SWR radius isn't light, nor is the weaver tacical. It's certainly at its upper limit and I wouldn't' take it hunting like this. With another scope and no Radius I had it at sub 10lbs.

And a follow up with the L's less some other barrels. I have one upper scoped for some distance and hunting, the other for training, close in and range fun.

That cabela's covenant is a surprising scope for the money, 4-16 FFP in MOA Christmas tree type reticle, great for multi-cal and knowing your loads. So tired of BDC BS.

My micro freshly back from getting the latest updates at the mother ship. New bolt carrier, bolt, gas block, and gas deflector along with some chamber work. Shot 100-rds through it last weekend without an issue. Interestingly, all rounds were suppressed and it cycled perfectly on the "0" gas setting. Had to call and confirm with Alex that "0" was just the lowest setting and not suppose to be total gas shutoff like I thought was the case. He confirmed "0" still allowed gas through and there is no complete gas shutoff. Either way, very happy with what was previously a very problematic rifle.
