**UPDATED PHOTOS**

Well it's no secret that I got one. Here are some "field" pics of my XCR-L w/16" Heavy Barrel 1/8 twist and Elcan Specter DR on top.

My micro freshly back from getting the latest updates at the mother ship. New bolt carrier, bolt, gas block, and gas deflector along with some chamber work. Shot 100-rds through it last weekend without an issue. Interestingly, all rounds were suppressed and it cycled perfectly on the "0" gas setting. Had to call and confirm with Alex that "0" was just the lowest setting and not suppose to be total gas shutoff like I thought was the case. He confirmed "0" still allowed gas through and there is no complete gas shutoff. Either way, very happy with what was previously a very problematic rifle.
Hmmm....so no complete cut off on zero like the older models. That kinda sucks. Not a lot, but it was a cool feature.
Speaking of the Radius... they must not be selling many of these or this is merely a way to blow out soon to be discontinued product/model. From over $900 to $400, and from Brownells... infamous for overcharging. The nerd in me wants it, but I know for 110% that I don't need it.

Oh it was discontinued, they advertised as special for a few days at Brownells and Optics Planet. Everyone got excited, including myself because there were 1400 Canadian. I bought one, after shipping, currency conversion and duties it was still half price for me. Then within just a few days, it was silently discontinued.

Few days after that, and it started showing as a discontinued product on Optics Planet. Had to reach out to some Canadian dealers that were trying to order stock and had no idea. They pulled listings after getting it confirmed.

I'd be interested to hear what kind of accuracy you're getting and with what. My 18" Grendel has been a bit of a letdown accuracy wise

That and reliability, hopefully with Wolf and good ammo.

I've liked the 100rds or so of wolf I've put through my 16" light. It likes to be on 6 for the gas setting. 2+ MOA with an ACOG. Good stuff so far.

Who wants to admit to being negligent to their $2K guchi rifle?

Look up either Xcr torture test or Robinson xcr vs extreme conditions on you tube.
Gut takes his new xcr and puts dirt in it and fires it, then adds water, next is sand if I recall.
The submerges in water gets bubbles out come up and shoots. Cool vid awesome rifle but most of us know it already.
Also a Xcr M mid test on you tube

I don't abuse my guns I use them and at times they get beauty mark's on them.
Most people that stick with their xcr do so because they are probably the best battle rifle out their not because they are a Guchi rifle.
I was after the best SHTF rifle I could find price didn't matter.
I wanted a gun that is super easy to work on with basic tools and parts, I have 2 vcrs and 3 part kits I'm set for years to come.
When I researched the Xcr many years ago almost everything was negative except the article about the military contract and these great people on this forum.
I found the xcr torture test on You tube and decided it was worth the try.
Got first one used loved it first time I shot it, for a couple of years I tried to see what would stop it from functioning, about an hour away is Wyoming, went up in January when it was 25 below zero no problems at all but my exposed trigger finger almost froze.
Next I decided to not clean it until I had to turn the gas up or clean it, over 1800 rounds later I couldn't take it no more and I decide to clean it but I didn't need to. I never had to adjust the gas.
I understand people that want a really nice looking rifle to take to the gun range and to show it off, but I truly believe that most people that stick with this gun do so cuz they are willing to bet their life on this rifle. Many people consider it such a valuable tool they want to get it to stop running to see what they need to do to prevent it.
Between the two that I own I have over 18 thousand rounds through them my only problem ever was 1 broke firing pin. These are my only two guns that I will never sell and I would not mind adding another, wouldn't mind catching up the Sean k with the amount that he owns

:raiseshand: Never clean or oil any of mine....they just run. That's sort of the thing with this rifle.
