Who wants to admit to being negligent to their $2K guchi rifle?
I don't abuse my guns I use them and at times they get beauty mark's on them.
Most people that stick with their xcr do so because they are probably the best battle rifle out their not because they are a Guchi rifle.
I was after the best SHTF rifle I could find price didn't matter.
I wanted a gun that is super easy to work on with basic tools and parts, I have 2 vcrs and 3 part kits I'm set for years to come.
When I researched the Xcr many years ago almost everything was negative except the article about the military contract and these great people on this forum.
I found the xcr torture test on You tube and decided it was worth the try.
Got first one used loved it first time I shot it, for a couple of years I tried to see what would stop it from functioning, about an hour away is Wyoming, went up in January when it was 25 below zero no problems at all but my exposed trigger finger almost froze.
Next I decided to not clean it until I had to turn the gas up or clean it, over 1800 rounds later I couldn't take it no more and I decide to clean it but I didn't need to. I never had to adjust the gas.
I understand people that want a really nice looking rifle to take to the gun range and to show it off, but I truly believe that most people that stick with this gun do so cuz they are willing to bet their life on this rifle. Many people consider it such a valuable tool they want to get it to stop running to see what they need to do to prevent it.
Between the two that I own I have over 18 thousand rounds through them my only problem ever was 1 broke firing pin. These are my only two guns that I will never sell and I would not mind adding another, wouldn't mind catching up the Sean k with the amount that he owns
